Samantha

Samantha is a Senior Veterinary Nurse with almost 9 years experience.
Originally from New Zealand, Sam gained her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing working and training at a mixed animal practice.
With a strong passion for animals of all shapes and sizes, Sam is a valued member of our team with excellent knowledge in surgery, anaesthesia and radiology.
Sam is a proud new mum to baby Olivia and has two fur-baby rescue cats.
When not at work she enjoys outdoor activities, playing sport and spending time with her family.
Ashleigh
Ashleigh is a Senior Veterinary Nurse, with almost 10 years of nursing experience. She hails from New Zealand, where she gained her Veterinary Nurse qualifications. Ashleigh is a passionate animal lover and lives with 7 rescued cats , Spencer, Swiper, Tails, Houdini, Jenkins, Mike Wazowski, Mumma and two rescue dogs , Phoebe and Honey. Although Ashleigh cares for all animals, she is our resident cat nurse and has a strong interest in feline care/behaviour and has extensive feline handling skills.
Prudence

Prudence is a young and enthusiastic veterinary nurse and has just successfully completed her training. She is an extremely competent veterinary nurse that shows great potential in her career, exhibits a willingness to improve her skills and a shows great compassion to all our patients.
Prudence has a keen an interest in surgery and anaesthesics. She wishes to advance her skills and continue education in anaethetic medicine.
During her time off, she spends time with her nine year old french bulldog named Hero and occasionally volunteers at dog rescue.
Michelle
Michelle has been veterinary nursing for eleven years and is an experienced member of our team. Michelle completed her Cert IV Veterinary Nursing at Bankstown TAFE in 2010 and has been working at St George Animal Hospital for the past six years. Michelle has one dog, Daisy, the epileptic pug, and two rescue cats Oliver and Milo. In her spare time, Michelle takes part in volunteering for the local community by rescuing and rehoming stray kittens and cats.
Danielle
Danielle joined our team in 2018 and is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Animal & Veterinary Bioscience and Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Danielle has two fluffy toy poodles (mother and son) and enjoys grooming them into different styles in her spare time.
Having worked 2 years in a bakery prior to Vet Nursing, Danielle is the in-house baker at St George Animal Hospital where she brings in treats regularly to keep the two-legged hoomans happy.
Danielle is also fluent in Chinese Mandarin and is always happy to help those with language difficulties for a better understanding of how their pets are doing.
Angelique
Angelique joined the SGAH team as a work experience student in 2016 and is now a valued member of our team completing her Cert IV in Vet Nursing in 2018.
Angie's desire to work with animals began as a young girl growing up on a farm in Robertson where she gained valued experience working with many different farm animals from chickens to cows, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and mice. She has owned a variety of different dog breeds over the years and her voluntary work with the RSPCA gave her lots of experience managing and learning different behavioural techniques.
With her keen interest in canine behaviour and her past experience as a certified PT Angie is not only a great nurse but has also become the perfect fit as our Puppy pre-school tutor. She brings a great spark to our clinic atmosphere with her bright and bubbly sense of humour and we look forward to seeing her thrive here at SGAH.
In her spare time Angie enjoys taking her four legged fiends Joe and Harry to the dog parks and beaches and cuddling with her cats Barney and Marshall.
